Pickle Hill

Pickle Hill is our house for active groups. It has a regulation pickleball court in the sports barn, plus basketball and yard games, a pool, a hot tub, and a sauna to recover in once the tournament ends. It sleeps ten, tucked into a quiet, secluded spot on a hill, so you get all the energy inside and total peace outside. Play hard, then unwind.

The Farm at Nickel Plate

If you are bringing the whole crew, The Farm at Nickel Plate sleeps twenty-two and has our biggest pool along with a full multi-sport barn: cornhole, ping pong, pickleball, soccer, basketball, and more. It is luxe and roomy, which makes it just as good for a lively family reunion as it is for a group that wants space to spread out.

Clouds Reach

Clouds Reach sleeps sixteen and brings the celebration energy. The bocce court is the thing guests cannot stop talking about, and the heated pool has the longest season of any of our cabins, open from about mid-April into late November, so it stays in play well past summer. The valley view makes every game feel like an event.

The Johnny

The Johnny sleeps sixteen and has personality for days, with a pool, kayaks out on the pond, a covered porch, and a gas fireplace. It is a favorite for groups who want a stay with a little swagger and a lot to do.

Beyond the cabin: adventure for every energy level

The best part of an active family trip is that Hocking Hills meets everyone where they are. Do the hikes first, and choose your trail by your group's comfort level. Ash Cave is an easy, stroller-friendly walk to a giant recess cave, while Conkle's Hollow's rim trail and Cantwell Cliffs give your more adventurous hikers something to earn. When you want to add a thrill, Hocking Hills Canopy Tours sends you soaring on ziplines through the treetops. On warm days, get out on the water with a canoe or kayak trip, or spend an afternoon at Lake Hope, about a thirty-minute drive east and genuinely worth it. Younger kids love the Children's Museum, the petting zoo, and a round of Putt Putt.

And you will need fuel. Start your mornings with coffee at Hocking Hills Coffee Emporium or the Oasis Coffee Shop, and when everyone is hungry, Millstone BBQ and Pizza Crossing never miss. Pizza Crossing in particular has always been so kind to our guests.
